Marketplace (general items)
For both casual and in-trade sellers, success fees apply to auctions if an item sells. Fees can be refunded if the sale isn’t completed.
High volume listing fees (10c per listing) apply when you go over your listing allowance.
Feel free to contact us about special rates for registered charities.
Casual sellers (not in-trade)
Success fees for casual sellers are based on the price of the item sold.

In-trade sellers
Success fees for in-trade sellers are based on the price of the item sold and the cost of shipping (the ’final sales value’). For more information, please see our blog post.

Top Sellers receive a discount on success fees, some promotional fees, and payment fees.

From time to time, we test new pricing on fees by raising the price or offering a discount. Price changes may run for a limited time, and be specific to a particular category, promotional extra, optional add-on, listing method or success fee.

Pay Now and Ping
1.95% of the total purchase price, including shipping. Top Sellers receive a reduced fee of 1.65%.
Afterpay
4.95% of the total purchase price, including shipping.
Cars
On 3 May 2019, we introduced a new car listing process which includes:
- Simplified listing options - Premium, Standard and Basic.
- Up-front pricing - we've removed auction success and withdrawal fees.
- Longer listing length - listings now last up to 90 days onsite, including promotional extras.
- A different process if your car doesn't sell - you can renew your listing for another 30 days for a reduced fee.
