Feedback
At the end of every auction, we encourage the buyer and seller to place feedback about each other – based on how the member was to deal with in terms of their obligations as a buyer or seller.
Feedback to the buyer
To submit feedback to the buyer, go to 'Sold items' through 'My Trade Me', and select 'Place feedback'.
If you’re using one of our apps, select ‘Sold’ from the ‘Selling’ tab. Select the item and select ‘Feedback’ to place.
Only place feedback once payment is received and the item is delivered. You can place feedback up to 45 days after the auction has closed. After this time there's no way to place feedback.
Editing feedback
You can only edit feedback once. Feedback can’t be reinstated if it’s deleted.
Feedback to the seller
To submit feedback to the seller, go to 'Items I've won' through 'My Trade Me' and select 'Place feedback'.
If you’re using one of our apps, select ‘Won’ from the ‘Buying’ tab. Select the item and select ‘Feedback’ to place.

Editing feedback

To edit or remove feedback, select 'Won' from 'My Trade Me'. Select 'Feedback placed' from the righthand menu. Under your placed feedback, select 'delete' or 'edit'.
If you're using one of our apps, you can edit feedback by selecting 'Won' from the 'Buying' tab. Select 'Feedback' from the listing to edit.
Unfair feedback
If you've received feedback you believe to be unfair, check out our help pages for buyers or for sellers.
Abuse of the trader feedback facility is not tolerated. Submitting non-factual or abusive comments may feedback removed and/or memberships suspended.
